When the research and development centre for BMW/Rover underwent refurbishment, the plans included replacing the vinyl flooring to the ‘street’ in the G.DEC Main Building and replacing these with ceramics. The challenge for B T & M was to complete the project for the centre's main thoroughfare, without compromising or inconveniencing the research centre’s personnel.

Careful sequencing of out of hours work enabled us to remove the old vinyl and latex flooring so that we were able to fix the new ceramic flooring in sections, during the working day, enabling the ‘street’ to be in continual use.
